This Schneider classical guitar is a high-quality concert instrument, one of the very last pieces made in 1991, and also one of the best examples of this model that passed through my hands until now. The guitar was made in Schönbach, Czechoslovakia – an area which has a long tradition of guitar making (spanning well into the times when it was one of the most prominent musical instrument making centers in the world). The quality of its execution, the sound, materials used and the original price tag show that this was indeed one of the highest priced and tiered guitars made by them at that time. Overall, this is a cleaned and refurbished historical instrument that is in a great condition, has a beautiful sound and projection and is completely ready to be played as it should be!

Construction wise, the guitar has a ladder-braced top with typical purfling, back and sides featuring some nice flamed maple, a rosewood bridge and a maple 3-piece neck with a rosewood fretboard (profesionally refretted to allow for a very comfortable playability). The tuners are also authentic and work very well on all strings. There are no cracks (only a finish scratch that can be seen on some of the pictures on the top,) the guitar was cleaned and went through a careful checkup. There are some minor scuffs and scratches typical for a played instrument of this age, along with typical, minorchecking of the original finish, which is very nicely preserved overall.

This instrument boasts a rich sound and dynamics with excellent balance and timbre, with articulate basses and clear highs, and a clear tone even in the higher register.

The scale lenght is 650 mm, the string spacing at saddle is 58 mm and the nut width is 52 mm. I will also include an extra, never-before used set of original tuners for this instrument.
