Eastman EBF863S F Tuba in Silver Plate

The Eastman EBF863S is a new-model, professional 4/4 F tuba built for players who need a clear, centered F-tuba voice with modern valve ergonomics and a practical, travel-ready package. It pairs four front-action pistons with a fifth rotary valve for extended facility across registers, and it is finished in silver plate over a 16.5 inch yellow brass bell for a traditional brass sound and straightforward maintenance.

A graduated bore is simply a bore that gets larger through the piston or rotor block. Graduated bores allow players to use air more efficiently as the bore of the piston or rotor aligns with the tubing coming out of the casing - so air is not wasted or choked off. This also results in better response, smoother passages, and secure intonation across the entire range of the horn.
