This listing is for one (1) 5879 pentode vacuum tube in the standard tube shape. It has a B9A 9AD noval 9-pin base, shiny plate, and top square or halo getter. Labels in stock include RCA, Sylvania. Some of our stock is re-labeled or marked with the OEM of GE, Sylvania, Raytheon, Amperex, Gibson. Nearly all 5879 were made by RCA, but a few are Sylvania.

Your tube has been fully tested on a computer-regulated, USA-made Amplitrex AT1000 on Fixed Bias setting with used good results. It has also passed shorts and gas tests. The tube might have mechanical wear or have the label rubbed off - these are very old! Tubes that test like new (tNOS) are available in a separate listing.
