Martin / 2006 CTM D-28 TC

"A higher-grade D-28..."

Synonymous with folk guitar, the D-28 was immensely popular during the folk era and remains a hugely popular guitar in the vintage market.
The powerful tone emitted from its dreadnought body continues to be used in a variety of musical scenes today.

This custom model uses woods commonly used in the 40 series.

The standard top is made of selected Sitka spruce.

The sides and back are made of straight-grained Indian rosewood.
The straight-grained wood, a characteristic of Martin guitars, enhances the guitar's beauty.
The back strip features a zigzag pattern.

The fingerboard is made of jet black ebony and features shell dot position markers.

The neck is crafted from select hardwood and features a thin C-shape for a comfortable grip.
It also features the D-28's signature volute.

The bridge, like the fingerboard, is made of ebony and features a short saddle.

The headstock, made of Indian rosewood veneer, has a sharp head shape. While the standard model features a three-dimensional gold logo, the CTM model features a vintage logo.

The tuning machines are GROVER 102C.
Enables smooth tuning.

This D-28 is unique to the Martin Custom Shop, but apart from the top wood, it's an authentic D-28!
This is a recommended guitar for those looking for a higher-grade D-28 or a Martin made by the Custom Shop.

[Condition]
- No major paint damage or cracks, and in excellent condition for its age.
- No muffled or buzzing sounds, and the instrument plays in excellent condition.
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.4mm on the 6th string, 1.9mm on the 1st string
- Saddle extension: Approximately 2.0mm-3.5mm
- Nut replaced.
