Overview: This D-28 is squeaky-clean, gorgeous, and both sounds and handles beautifully. It's from Martin's Custom Shop line and only available in limited quantities. It has a '30s-style build and details but has an adjustable truss rod fit. It sounds like "the real thing" because it's built like one. It's that simple. This one has some induced very light aging to the finish with some yellowing to the look, fine-line weather-checking to the top, and light aging of the hardware. This gives it a comfy, relaxed old look without going overboard into faux-wear. The neck style (with its rolled fretboard edges), handling, and punchy, up-front sound are all '30s-style features that will attract anyone who's into older Martin Ds.

Repairs included: I took it out of the case and put it on the wall. It arrived with the setup perfectly dialed-in. It's ready to go!
