The SLOW was developed to meet the needs of guitarists and bassists who love the classic sound of Big Muffs but seek versatility and the practicality of having a low-end cut—to make the sound tighter or boost the mids without the need to add another overdrive or equalizer to the equation.

The obvious reference to Black Sabbath (in the Volume control) and Stoner Rock already indicates: the SLOW is a serious pedal when it comes to gain and bass. Its voicing was designed for the dense riffs of the Sabbath school, but its internal switches allow for many other possibilities: The first pair of DIP switches modifies the voicing of the SLOW for a more modern sound, providing a full range boost and increasing the compression and sonic mass of the pedal. The central trio of DIP switches modifies the mids voicing of the SLOW, ranging from the traditional scoop of the Big Muff to cutting mids to highlight your solos and riffs. Finally, the last pair of switches offers a generous bass boost reminiscent of Russian Big Muffs, making it an excellent ally for adding weight in lower tunings or when using a bass. Furthermore, it's possible to combine the use of all switches, offering a vast array of tonal possibilities that encompass sounds from David Gilmour, Santana, Eric Johnson, Billy Corgan.
