”Time Capsule” 1998 Stratocaster American Deluxe, Made in the USA, ash body in transparent teal, maple neck. Single owner, purchased in Milan in 1999, plays like silk!

The see through is stunning over the ash body and the maple neck has aged so nicely to a very rich yellow hue. All 3 pickups sound very “stratty” and articulated.
She comes with original hard case, original tremolo bar, straplock, Fender certificates and manuals. A true “Time Capsule”!

She is in excellent conditions for having been played and loved for some 25 years now, with some minor dings and scratches (please see the photos).
Setup by my professional luthier, it plays fast, with extremely low action.
This is one of the first American Deluxe Stratocaster (September 98, serial # 549) and was intended as the top-of-the-line American production model.
For the body, Fender went back to the original shape design drawings of the 50s, while the neck features a very comfortable modern C shape with rolled edges, 9.5″ radius and a satin polyurethane finish with width nut of 1.68750″ (43mm). It comes with real mother of pearl abalone dot position inlays.
The bridge is theDeluxe 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with a pop-in arm. The tuning machines are locking Schaller deluxe.
