Representing a bold first step for Fender, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amplifier utilizes massive digital processing power to achieve a singular, remarkable sonic feat: the faithful modeling of the circuitry and 22W output power of an original tube-powered Deluxe amplifier. By employing a high-performance 100W digital power amp to capture the headroom and dynamic range of a genuine vintage tube Deluxe—complemented by the distinct brilliance and clarity of a single Celestion NEO Creamback speaker housed in a resonant pine cabinet—the result is a tube-free Deluxe Reverb tone with volume and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from the all-tube original. Furthermore, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb weighs only about half as much as an all-tube Deluxe. The front-panel controls offer guitarists an experience identical to the tube version, including enhanced reverb and tremolo effects that allow for easier, more precise adjustment at lower settings. The rear panel provides modern convenience and flexibility, featuring an output power selector (offering full power plus five attenuated settings), a balanced XLR line output with new IR (impulse response) cabinet simulations—captured using Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421 microphones—a mute switch for silent stage or studio use, a USB port for firmware updates, and more.
