1991 Hamer USA Centaura Vintage HSS Superstrat Granite w/ DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan & Case

Up for sale is a rare 1991 Hamer USA Centaura in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This USA-made Hamer is built to shred, featuring an HSS pickup complement, Floyd Rose-licensed Schaller tremolo, and gloss Black & White Granite finish. 

Tonewoods included a swamp ash body, maple neck, and pau ferro fretboard. The bridge pickup has been upgraded with a DiMarzio DP150 Double Whammy: designed for usage with locking tremolos, this high-output humbucker is full and aggressive with tight lows, crisp highs, and a notably full, vocal midrange bump. The original Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coils in the neck and middle positions deliver classic Strat-style sparkle and spank. Additionally, the two-way “Thick Switch” mini-toggle engages an additional tone cap, adding a touch more heft to the signal for particularly ripping gain. This Centaura weighs 7lbs 3oz and has just had a fresh fret polish, fretboard cleaning, new strings, and setup.

The gloss Black & White Granite finish exhibits subtle yellowing of the clear coat, with cosmetic wear limited to a bit of pick scuffing on top and some small dings on the back and lower bout perimeter. The satin finish on the neck profile highlights subtle birdseye figuring in the maple, smooth and clean with a few shallow nicks along the profile length.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
