Epiphone soft brass 50 thumbwheels and posts adapters for ABR-1 bridge Les Paul Royal Mount 2026 - Nickel

Finally available! After many requests I created a soft brass kit to convert your Epiphone/Import guitars to the classic Gibson style ABR-1 bridge. My "smart kit" contains two special soft brass studs to be installed in place of the original Epiphone/Import studs, two M4 posts (the same ones used on JAPAN and EUR guitars with metric posts), an M8 screw extractor and two thumbwheels in soft brass '50 specs.

This kit works best on the original ABR-1 bridges. In any case, I invite you to check that the diameter of the housing holes in your bridge are of adequate size to accommodate the Royal Mount stud thread. In this regard, Faber® ABRM/ABRN Bridges are an excellent choice.

This kit can also be used (without the M8 studs adapters) on JAPAN/METRIC guitars by mounting the M4 posts directly into the wood.

They were made in a small Italian company on the border with Switzerland that has been active since 1936 in the field of precision small parts. The same "soft brass" from the 1950s was used in Kalamazoo. The nickel plating is "copperless" type to be 100% faithful to the original project. The sound is 100% vintage.
