VFE Fuzz Duo hybrid fuzz - Red

This version of the FUZZ DUO lets you switch between low-gain germanium & high-gain silicon transistor on the front end of a Fuzz Face circuit. The BIAS control lets you dial in that perfect sweet spot, and includes bass & treble filters to let you fine tune the tone. The FUZZ DUO uses hand-selected germanium & silicon transistors, and works great when daisy-chained on a power supply.

LEVEL - controls the output of the pedal
FUZZ - sets the gain of the fuzz
BIAS - sets the voltage fed to the second transistor stage. Extreme low/high settings will reduce output volume.
TREBLE - clockwise = flatter treble response in the gain stage
BASS - clockwise = flatter bass response in the pre-gain stage
Ge/Si - toggles between germanium (Ge) and high-gain silicon (Si) transistors in the 1st transistor stage
INTERNAL CONTROLS - The trimpot on the main circuit board affects the amount of feedback & voltage bias of the fuzz circuit. More feedback = less gain. The lower trimpot controls the brightness of the LED.

POWER - Accepts the industry standard, 9 to 18 VDC, negative-tip power supply.
