Summary: This 1992 Gibson Flying V '67 reissue is considered an iconic design by modern guitarists. It was first introduced in 1958, and in the following decades, it became increasingly popular, especially with hard rock and metal guitarists. It features a fast-playing mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. The iconically-shaped mahogany body is outfitted with humbucking pickups that accurately capture the unique fat-toned sound and rich sustain of this unique instrument.
Body: Mahogany in Heritage Cherry finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: 2 humbucker pickups, Gibson Deluxe tuning keys, tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, black top hat knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and many small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. There’s a little wear to the headstock edges. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
The tuners have been upgraded with usa made Sperzel tuners and the bridge has been upgraded with a USA kahler bridge (vintage).
A lovely guitar that doesn’t have to go.
Modifications: Changed tiners and bridge, incl whammy bar.

Case: This guitar ships in its original hardshell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
