The solid ash/okoumé body is complemented by a five-strip maple/walnut neck, which ensures secure handling in a robust neck-through-body construction. The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 24 medium frets, which not only provides enough space for deep riffs or bass lines in high registers - the 15.75" fingerboard radius also offers an optimal feel for quick finger changes or elaborate licks. The active preamp with 3-band EQ, which provides additional control for your personal sound preferences via three controls for bass, mid-range and treble, ensures precise fine-tuning of the frequency range. The 3-way mid-frequency switch gives you the option of selecting three mid-frequency spectrums between 250Hz, 450Hz and 700Hz, allowing you to tailor the mid-range in particular. With an additional EQ bypass switch, the Preamp can be switched off if required, allowing the treble control to be used as a passive tone control.
