With a poplar body and a bolt-on maple neck in the classic "C" neck profile, the Affinity Active Jazz Bass combines a classic design with comfortable handling. The maple fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and has a 12" fingerboard radius, making it ideal for tackling juicy licks and demanding bass lines. On top of this, the fretboard has Pearloid block inlays, which skillfully underline the instrument's classic vintage lock.

At the heart of the Affinity Active Jazz Bass are two Squier Ceramic Noiseless Jazz Bass single coils in the middle and bridge positions, which enable a defined sound and deliver a crisp tone without annoying background noise. Thanks to the Master Tone control, soft basses or present, crisp highs can be tickled out of the instrument, making the E-Bass suitable for a variety of genres.

The Affinity Active Jazz Bass is equipped with a vintage-style bridge that provides enough support for a robust string action while reliably maintaining intonation.
