------------------------------
KoAloha Ukuleles was founded in 1995 by Alvin Okami. Currently, it is run by a small, elite team led by his eldest son and president, Alan, and his second son and vice president, Paul. KoAloha has become one of Hawaii's leading ukulele manufacturers. It is characterized by its modern look and design, excellent playability, high-fidelity and clear sound that is unmatched by other manufacturers, and above all, its loud volume. This instrument is from KoAloha's second brand, "Opio," which keeps costs down by simplifying the decoration and manufacturing in Thailand. It is a tenor-sized "KTO-10." It uses a solid acacia koa body, which has properties similar to authentic Hawaiian koa. It has a sapele fingerboard and bridge, logo-emblazoned rotomatic-type tuners, a semi-gloss finish, and a 4-string Low-G setup. The semi-gloss finish has a gentle texture that makes you feel the warmth of the wood. It has the traditional look of KoAloha, such as the crown-shaped head and the triangular soundhole. This guitar embodies the essence of KoAloha, with its open, full-bodied, and rich sound. Experience the vibrant and lively tone of a true KoAloha saxophone at this price. It's recommended for those looking to start seriously with their first saxophone, or for those looking to expand beyond soprano or concert sizes. An original gig case is included.
