Pair of TubeTronix - TM-PR10 Compressors.
If you don’t know about these: Only 8 were made - just before the main run of the Blue TubeTronix TM-2A stereo compressors.
La2a styled compressors.
Transformer and Tube audio paths;
LED opto-source - driven by a custom detector circuit;
Added GRRC - (Gain-Reduction RC-Filter) - reduces sensitivity to low frequencies.
Built into channel chassis from a gutted tape-machine… lots of local history around TubeTronix.
Before entering my possession: One unit had an op-amp replaced with a PMI OP-290. -original opamps in these units were sanded down, and painted gold.
Faceplates showing scratches and a few corrosion spots… but the gold plates still shine so much it’s hard to get a picture.
Power Supply caps were changed in the last 6 years.
Units are working well and reliably -- but as these were built as prototypes, over 20 years ago, they are sold as-is.
