Up for sale is a 1961 Custom Kraft (Kay) 4155 Midnight Special.
This 4155 hollowbody electric guitar was manufactured by Kay in the USA during the early 60's. It has a very similar feel and look to a Kay Swingmaster or Harmony Stratotone Jupiter, with a black sparkle finish and checkerboard binding on the top, back, and neck. Custom Kraft guitars were created for St Louis Music (a heavyweight guitar distributor) and these particular instruments were only available from 1961-62 in a series that was dubbed the "Dynamic Color" line. A super rare guitar and very hard to find in any condition.
This guitar is in very good condition for its age, it does have signs of some cosmetic play wear however this doesn't take away from how great it plays and sounds. Recently given a full setup and service in house.
Case: Comes with a gig bag.
Condition: Very good with some minor cosmetic wear.
