Description

La Bella’s Mandolin Series 880M strings bring established American string-making heritage to the 8-string mandolin. This medium-tension set combines phosphor bronze wound strings with plain steel strings for a balanced response across the instrument’s paired courses. The loop-end design is made for straightforward installation, while the carefully selected construction supports clear articulation, musical projection, and dependable tuning stability.

Built for players who need versatility, the 880M set suits traditional bluegrass, folk, Celtic, and acoustic ensemble settings, as well as practice and recording. Its medium tension offers a comfortable blend of firmness and playability, helping chords speak cleanly while preserving the bright, focused character associated with mandolin. Made in the USA with American wire, these strings deliver reliable performance from rehearsal room to stage.
