8K gimbal camera with Leica Summicron lens

The Insta360 Luna Ultra ushers in a new class of compact gimbal cameras. Featuring a Leica Summicron lens, an 8K 1-inch sensor, a professional telephoto lens, 3-axis stabilisation and 10-bit I-Log, it delivers outstanding image quality for vlogs, travel, social media, portraits, landscapes and professional creator workflows.

Leica Summicron and 8K 1-inch sensor

The Leica Summicron lens works in conjunction with a 1-inch sensor, a fast f/1.8 aperture and 14 stops of dynamic range. This results in crisp images with natural colours, strong detail and greater headroom in shadows and highlights.

With 8K Dolby Vision and 4K 120 fps slow motion, the camera offers plenty of scope for high-quality videos, clean cropping and dynamic slow-motion footage. 10-bit I-Log is available for colour grading, including professional flexibility for ACES workflows.

Telephoto lens with 12× zoom

In addition to the main lens, the Insta360 Luna Ultra features a professional telephoto lens with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, an f/2.0 aperture and up to 12× zoom. It also offers five key focal lengths, including 6× lossless zoom.

This allows you to bring distant subjects closer, bring out details and create images with greater depth. In telephoto macro mode, you can also capture close-ups with fine textures, whilst gimbal stabilisation ensures smooth and precise results.

Triple AI Chip and PureVideo

The triple AI chip system delivers powerful processing power and improved image processing. Two dedicated imaging chips enhance low-light performance, whilst a 4-nm flagship AI chip powers tracking, focus and smart shooting features.

In PureVideo mode, the Luna Ultra records up to 4K at 60 fps in low light. Noise is reduced, details are better preserved and dark scenes appear clearer. This is particularly useful for night-time shots, cityscapes, stages, clubs and indoor settings.

Detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen

The detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen serves as both a preview and a control panel. With HD image transmission up to 20 metres, you can use the camera more flexibly and control the frame even when the camera is not directly in your hand.
