Mobile 8-bit sounds and fast sequences for on-the-go

The PO-28 robot features 15 genuine synthesis-based 8-bit sounds and an additional micro drum machine.

All sounds can be controlled via an internal step sequencer. The pocket synthesisers from the cult Swedish brand Teenage Engineering have no casing, so all components and the circuit board are directly visible and form part of the design. Power is supplied by 2 standard (AAA) micro batteries.

In addition, every Pocket Operator features an animated LCD display, a built-in speaker, a bent-wire stand, Jam Sync for synchronising with other devices, line in and out outputs (3.5 mm jack) and, conveniently, an integrated alarm clock. Automations can be recorded per step using Parameter Lock.

Effects available include filters, bit crusher, delay and stutter, amongst others.
