The EQ 2 inherits the circuitry of classic overdrive guitar effects pedals that many players are familiar with. Featuring a 3-way clipping section, a more even and accessible tone control, and a high-gain adjustment, it delivers a more refined sound while still retaining the character of classic overdrive. A mini toggle switch controls the variable clipping section, offering three settings: symmetrical, asymmetrical, and no clipping, giving you even more flexibility in your pedal's tone.

Blues and rock guitarists looking for a little more mid-range body without being overly aggressive will appreciate the amount of gain it provides to really power through the front end of their amp. The Axial 2™ maintains a tight, low-end response without distortion, even at maximum gain settings.

You'll notice that the tone control has a more even sweep than those found on traditional overdrive pedals, and the settings are less dramatic, making the tone control more usable.
