The VTL5C4 is an optical isolator/coupler. It has very low on-resistance, fast response time, and a smaller temperature coefficient of resistance than the VTL5C1. Ideal for use in audio limiting, compression, remote gain control and many other applications.
We offer two types, an economy vactrol and high quality Xvive vactrol. Vactrols will always have a pretty low tolerance on their specifications, but the Xvive vactrols are a little more consistent. They are also sealed better so that outside light won't affect the LDR as easily.

Please note: The VTL5C4 is ideal for the LPG, but it is not recommended as a replacement for vactrols in products such as the DLY module, Roboto, etc. Use the VTL5C3 instead.
