Here for sale we have a Cort Artisan Series Space 5 headless five string electric bass guitar in Star Dust Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2024, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Soft Maple body with Poplar Burl top, Roasted Maple neck & 24 fret Roasted Maple  fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Cort specially designed headless integrated tuning bridge. A Bartolini MK I pickup set is installed, wired to controls for master volume (push/pull - active/passive modes), pickup pan & a 3-band EQ. 

The Roasted Maple neck plays very well, with the C Shape profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate playing experience across the register. Whilst certainly not a thick neck, there is indeed enough material to sustain a firm grip for heavy riffing and smooth bass lines. The neck heel is nicely sculpted to improve access to the top frets, and being headless, the instrument is incredibly well balanced in both seated & standing positions. The controls are well placed for easy use while playing without intruding on the playing experience. 

The Bartolini MK I pickup set deliver a natural warm tone that produces full bodied notes with clarity. The range of controls that are available to the player give a wide variety of tonal range that can be explored with multiple combinations. The 3 band EQ offers a range of controls designed to offer the player the ability to dial in the perfect tone with the utmost precision, featuring active/passive modes as well as a pickup pan, there is ample scope for sculpting the perfect tone right on the bass.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall excellent condition. Light indentations are present to the front edges of the body, most notably at the treble side waist edge. A light finish imperfection is present tot he rear face, this can be seen near the neck screws along with the Satin finish being polished slightly.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) not included.

Hardware: Excellent condition. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
