Here for sale we have a PRS SE Dave Navarro in Jet White finish. Made in Korea in 2012, this guitar was new for 2012 and was a more affordable entry point for Dave Navarro fans to get a taste of his signature model. PRS' core Dave Navarro was released in 2005, but as with many PRS signature models was well out of reach of the typical fan. Based on a Custom 24, this instrument features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including a PRS vintage-style 6-point tremolo bridge & sealed tuning machines. A pair of PRS SE passive humbucking pickups are installed, with a Vintage Bass in the neck and an HFS in the bridge. these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume & master tone controls, with a push/pull coil split on the tone. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with PRS' Wide Thin profile feeling nice & substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. The width of the neck provides ample string spacing for accurate fretting, whilst remaining thin to the rear encourages ergonomic thumb positioning & easy fretting. The Rosewood of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and the traditional 10" PRS radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. The double cutaway body design with customary PRS sculpted treble horn enhances access to the upper frets, opening up the full range of the instrument. 

Amplified, the pair of PRS passive humbucking pickups deliver thick, full bodied & impressively clear tones. There is plenty of grunt available from the neck position, which can easily drive your lead sounds & solos to the front of the mix. The HFS in the bridge is brighter & hotter, producing a saturated tone when cranking the gain which works brilliantly for rhythm parts & riffs. The controls are well set out, and provide plenty of scope for dialling in your perfect tone right on the guitar. The addition of a coil-split function adds the option of single-coil style sounds for extra versatility.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. A very small chip is present to the bass side rear corner which very lightly reveals the wood beneath. Light scratching to all aspects of the headstock is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition. The edge of the treble side neck heel shows finish wear which very lightly reveals the wood beneath. Any other markings to the neck & fingerboard are difficult to discern. 

Body: Overall excellent condition. Light to mild indentation pieces the finish at the bass side rear edge of the upper horn & at the treble side waist on the side of the instrument. These markings do not reveal the wood beneath. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included. 

Hardware: Very good condition with light to mild fading of the gold hardware finish, particularly at the side of the bridge & the tuning buttons. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
