Sandberg Custom Yolanda Charles 5-String

The Sandberg Custom Yolanda Charles 5‑String Bass is a signature instrument inspired by the groove‑centric artistry of British bassist Yolanda Charles. Built in Germany with meticulous attention to detail, this five‑string model delivers a powerful, versatile voice that’s equally at home on stage, in the studio, or anywhere creativity strikes.

Its solid European ash body in a rich Brown Burst Matte finish provides a resonant foundation with punchy lows and clear mids, while the bolt‑on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and classic oval inlays offer smooth, responsive playability across the extended range.

The bass is equipped with a pair of Delano VT pickups — one split‑coil and one single‑coil — giving you a dynamic tonal palette that ranges from warm, vintage‑infused tones to articulate, modern clarity. Its Sandberg 3‑band active/passive EQ and volume/pickup blend controls let you shape your sound with precision and feel, whether you’re laying down deep pocket grooves or soaring melodic lines.

Premium chrome hardware and a balanced design ensure reliable tuning stability and solid performance night after night. Complete with a gig bag and finished in a timeless aesthetic, the Custom Yolanda Charles 5‑String Bass embodies signature‑level craftsmanship and expressive versatility.
