The Harmonic Percolator has a unique hybrid Ge/Si circuit design and because of its unique design features, the pedal's circuitry is designed to favor even-order harmonics. The even-order harmonics create the unique and captivating smooth musical sonic character of the Harmonic Percolator. Even though the Harmonic Percolator is capable of high levels of fuzz, it retains a surprising amount of clarity and definition, Dial up the volume and pull back the harmonic knob and you have a beautiful dynamic clean tone rich and blossoming with tone. Turn up both knobs and you have searing distortion. ..
With the Perk Deluxe I added a bias knob that lets this kitty purr or roar. Really opened up it's potential.
