1950's Maton Mayfair, customised by the legendary Jacobacci brothers in Paris. Previously owned by Norman Mongan, author of "History Of The Guitar In Jazz", who had this work carried out during his time in Paris. The visual appointments are stunning, including a custom made tailpiece, custom inlays and a beautiful headstock overlay on what appears to be a neck made for this guitar. Slim neck profile. Sounds absolutely fantastic. Includes vintage hardcase.
