The seven-ply mahogany shells, fitted with Remo heads and featuring a 30° shell ridge, produce a warm tone with clear overtones and powerful bass.

The 7-ply mahogany shells of the CC2-J484 Catalina Club Satin Walnut Glaze, with the characteristic 30° shell ridge, provide a harmonious sound structure with rich, reflected overtones. The dark tone of Gretsch Formula Mahogany is complemented by a clear attack and high dynamics, resulting in a balanced, warm sound. Triple-flanged hoops on the snare and toms ensure perfect tuning stability and well-defined tones.

The mini GTS tom suspension minimizes contact with the shell to maximize the vibration freedom of the mahogany shells. The included tom holder fits seamlessly into the stylish "gas cap" rosette and provides space for an optional cymbal arm right next to the suspended tom. The Catalina Club Jazz comes equipped from the factory with durable Remo Ambassador heads, delivering a stable, reliable sound right from the start.
