The Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured Seafoam Green combines the iconic design of the classic Les Paul with some useful contemporary features that give the successful model new sound facets, improved playability and stunning looks. With two Burstbucker Pro pickups and extended switching options, the instrument from the Gibson USA Modern Collection leaves no sound wish unfulfilled, while the SlimTaper neck with contoured neck heel ensures the best playability in all registers. Furthermore, Gibson gives the Les Paul Modern Figured a matching hardshell Case for safe transportation to rehearsals and gigs.

The body, made from solid mahogany according to the classic recipe, provides the resonant basis for the tonal character of the instrument and features classic Paula contours. The two-piece flamed maple top in AAA quality is an absolute eye-catcher, which, in combination with the powerful flame and refreshing Seafoam Green high-gloss finish, creates the unique look of the Les Paul Modern Figured. The basic construction is completed by a slim SlimTaper neck made of mahogany with an ergonomic Modern Contoured heel and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with all-round binding.

The Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured draws its tonal versatility from its two humbuckers and the underlying wiring. In the neck position, a Gibson USA Burstbucker Pro provides warm and vocal sounds, while the Gibson USA Burstbucker Pro + at the bridge provides enough steam for hotter rock and metal sounds. The push/pull function of the two volume controls can be used to switch both pickups separately to coil tap mode for airy, clear sounds, while the two tone controls can be used to activate either phase inversion or bypass mode. The latter removes the entire wiring from the signal path and connects the pickups directly to the output socket.
