Inspired by the tube EQs of the 1960s, Thermionic Culture has developed the Swift and is now bringing the valve design of Pultec, EMI EQ and the like into the modern era with a number of innovative features.

The Swift has been designed to en um s to achieve excellent results as easily as possible. Thanks to its clear and uncluttered panel layout, this 2-channel valve EQ can be operated extremely quickly, ensuring you always have everything at a glance.

The Swift’s core electronics are based on a 1950s EMI console, updated with enhanced high-and low-frequency response. The active Baxandall-type EQ has been retained and um expanded to include a Presence switch, which enables a broadband lift in the mid/high frequencies. The Pultec-based passive mid-lift has been um expanded to include passive functions such as a high-pass filter, mid-cut and the trademark ‘Air’ control.
