Custom Lap King Thunderbird bass non reverse style by Jason DuMont

Handcrafted Thunderbird non reverse style bass. It has my "Lap King" logo. My name is Jason DuMont, I have been building instruments for many, many, years. This has been my personal bass for a year.
The neck is three piece quatersawn Korina. Both sides of the headstock have a Rosewood overlay for strength. The body is two piece Korina.
 34" scale length. The fingerboard is Rosewood with pearl dots. The chunky neck plays terrific.
the colour is Fiesta Red and the finish is nitrocellulose laquer. The cream color pickguard is 3 ply.

The paint chip out behind the tuners occurred when I had to redrill for larger post tuners, the nitro chipped and since it was for my own use at the time I did not repair it because I was eager to play her.
