This is the Charvel USA Custom Shop Mike Learn Graphic Desolation Alley Electric Guitar. This model is a San Dimas 1 x Humbucker design guitar from a 2 piece Basswood body and features a maple quatersawn Charvel Neck with Fender licensed headstock. At this level, every Charvel plays fast and true, this 22 fret model features a compound radius neck so it's flatter higher up on the neck for serious playing speed and ease of bending. Pick ups are provided by Seymour Duncan by way of a TB-4 JB in the bridge which is great for heavy blues to heavy rock - plenty of output while retaining the clear highs and aggressive harmonics. And I'll tell you what, the combination of the Basswood and the TB-4 lays down a brutal tight and focused sound great for thrash or death metal. This guitar features an original floyd rose tremolo system with locking nut. Really smooth and accurate, and stays in tune. The best locking trem in the business. The trem is not recessed on this model, it sits flat on top of the body of the guitar.
