RARE Takamine EF444S-TBS Tobacco Burst/Gloss

Up for sale is a very beautiful, wonderful sounding and hard to find Japanese made Takamine EF444S-TBS with a Takamine case. Per the serial number, this guitar was crafted in September of 2000. I have seen where there were only 812 of these made but I have yet to verify that. It isn't a member of any of Takamine's various series so therefore it definitely is a limited edition. I am just unable to say with knowldge that it was limited at 812 although several of these sold in the past made that claim. I wasn't able to find any for sale within the United States and those overseas were priced at the original list price for this guitar which was $1799.00

 There are a few signs of wear on this guitar. There is a small scratch/ding at the heal of the neck at what , a couple of small, fine scratches on the top of the guitar on the right side of the upper bout.  At particular angles and in the right light there is an opaqueness on the headstock at the edges. I tried to clean it off without success but I was afraid of being too harsh and decided to leave it as is.

 The sound that eminates from this well made guitar is absolutely beautiful whether you choose to be amped up or unplugged. It has been taken care of well including the use of a humidifier when not in use.
