SABIAN 15" HHX Groove Hat Bottom Brilliant Finish

The HHX Groove Hat delivers a tight, responsive feel with crisp articulation and a quick cut that sits perfectly in the mix. This medium top/heavy bottom pairing produces a dark, defined sound with minimal wash—ideal for drummers seeking precision and control in groove-oriented playing. The brilliant finish adds visual clarity to match the cymbal's cutting character.

Tone & Responsiveness

Hand-hammered construction using multiple sized peens creates a dense, thin profile that generates a dark, focused tone without excessive overtones. Pinpoint lathing enhances responsiveness and delivers quicker articulation, making these hats snap and pop with authority during fast passages and ghost notes.

Crafted from B20 bronze—a proprietary alloy of bronze, tin, and silver—these cymbals are built to exacting standards for durability and tonal consistency. The 15-inch size with medium top and heavy bottom weighting provides a compact, controllable platform suited to modern and traditional grip techniques alike.
