I'm selling this wonderful vintage mic Telefunken mic MD 21, made between the 50's and 60's in West Germany. The mic is the predecessor of the Senheiser model MD 21. The Beatles used to record with this mic (all along with many others of course). I was using this mic only a couple of times for recording guitar. It has a nice midrange bump it's an abosulte an rare classic. The previous owner of the mic was a vintage reocrding studio in Munich. They provided me the serial number, which is visible on one of the photos.
This mic has a specific vintage type xlr. To be used properly you need a specific adapter cable - the vintage xlr, which is attached to the microphone and a normal (modern xlr) one, which is on the other side of the cable. The cable is provided with the microphone.
The mic has a standard threat and can be attached easily on a microphone stand.
The mic has a specific vintage sound, that hardly can be duplicated in modern ressues.
Hope the owner can keep and apreciate it the way I did.
