if you aren't aware of these EHB models, they are light, exceptionally well balanced, and have a beautiful toasted maple neck. the 1005 MS is a 5-string multi-scale model with Bartolini pickups.

i've added a few extras:

- new metal knobs to replace the original plastic

- black adhesive fret markers for the top of the neck (the originals can be hard to see)

-a leather strap with straploks installed.

- new DR low rider strings

This bass has never been gigged, it sits in my home studio. The only reason it's marked excellent and not mint is that it has a tiny scratched area behind the tuning machines (see picture). it's barely discernable unless youre looking for it--it happened when i bumped into something in my cramped studio space.

this bass cost me $1600 with the extras ($1500 if you buy one new today), I'm taking a hit due to the tiny scratch and the fact that i'm just not a 5-string lover. Sad to see it go, as the craftsmanship and playability are excellent.
