The LAVA STUDIO is what happens when you stop thinking of a desktop amp as just an amp. It's a guitar rig, a multi-FX unit, an 8-track looper, a mini DAW, an interactive lesson platform, and a Bluetooth-capable listening speaker — all built around a 13.3" multi-touch display that replaces the usual wall of knobs and switches. If your practice space, songwriting setup, and listening setup currently take up half a room, this consolidates a lot of it into one machine that fits on a desk.
The tone engine is LAVA's own neural amp modeling, with 30+ amp models covering ground inspired by the usual heroes — Fender, Marshall, Mesa, Orange, Victory and others — plus 40+ effect modules spanning drives, distortions, delays, reverbs, modulation, and a handful of more experimental things like guitar-to-synth and real-time transpose. Up to eight effects can be chained at once, dragged into any order on the touchscreen. There are 300+ backing tracks and drum grooves built in, an 8-track looper for layering parts, and a built-in miniDAW that lets you record multi-track ideas and export full mixes or individual stems without ever opening a laptop.
The 2.1 audio system — a carbon-fibre woofer plus dual 2" tweeters — is built to do double duty: it has to handle full-range guitar tone for practice and recording, and it also has to sound good as a Bluetooth speaker for streaming through Spotify, Apple Music, or your own library. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 keep it connected; USB-C handles power and computer integration. The screen tilts up to 80 degrees so you can actually see what you're doing whether the unit is on a desk, a side table, or LAVA's optional adjustable stand (sold separately).
This is a piece of gear that rewards players who want to spend more time playing and less time managing cables, apps, and gear shuffling. Whether you're a working player using it to sketch ideas, a beginner using the lesson platform to learn from real instructors, or someone who just wants one thing in the corner of the room that does most of what you need it to do — the LAVA STUDIO covers a remarkable amount of ground for its footprint.
