The Scorpion is a fantastic Overdrive pedal, the key being its Depth knob which dials in how much of your lows are clipped. Wonderful on bass, good for any instrument.

The Depth knob gives complete control of the low frequency clipping, ranging from a lean, grindy tone, all the way to a full on bass distortion. Increasing the Depth knob allows more lows to be clipped, making the signal thicker and heavier.

The three band equalizer gives a huge range of usable tones, voiced to complement the bass guitar. 

The pedal requires a DC power supply (not included). The DC supply should be a standard Boss style connector, center negative polarity. The pedal can accept 9 to 24 volts . The current draw is approximately 5 mA.
