Very Rare Roland System 100M Vintage Modular Synthesizer

I have decided to sell my Roland 100M. It is in very good condition, I would say "excellent" for it's age considering a few minor cosmetic flaws here and there. Very very very low serial number on all the modules. Includes all the original power and routing connectors for each module and the original signal patch cables as well.

All sliders, switches, pots, buttons, and jacks work flawlessly.  I highly doubt you will find another 100M that works like this one.. at least in the states anyway.  

The modules are:
-112 VCO
-121 VCF
-130 VCA
-140 ENV/LFO
-150 Ring Mod/S&H/Noise Gen/LFO

Not sure if anyone even cares about the history of this specific unit, but this 100M was previously owned by Haruomi Hosono (Yellow Magic Orchestra). I purchased it directly from him in 2006. He apparently used the 100Ms all over his 'Philharmony' album. Harry claimed it was one of the first 100M synths to leave the Roland facilities.. I believe he was selling 5 of them at the time? He was also the first person to receive a TR-808 and credited as the first to release an album with MC-4 and TR-808, if that means anything. The guy was basically a lab rat for Roland in the late 70s and early 80s. Feel free to google him for reference.  Pretty killer music too.

This is one of the few vintage modular synths that is compatible with Eurorack (3.5m connectors).  Whether integrated with Eurorack or just as a standalone synth, this 100M sounds amazing.

I would prefer to sell this local, if possible.  If you are in the central NC area, you are more than welcome to come test it/pick it up.  I'll even make you coffee! (I have some amazing coffee right now).
