Nice Gibson Historic Reissue case-candy package dating approximately to the late 1990s–early 2000s, consisting of an original-style guitar case key, two strap buttons and a reprinted Gibson Sonomatic Strings hangtag. The orange-and-black guitar-shaped tag faithfully recreates the typography and artwork used on Gibson’s original late-1950s/early-1960s Sonomatic tags—the genuine originals are generally associated with roughly 1956–64 instruments. The crisp modern printing, paper stock and reproduction treatment identify this example as later Historic-series case candy rather than an original vintage tag. A great little group for completing a late-’90s/early-2000s Gibson Historic or Custom Shop reissue case package.
