Vintage Guild Starfire III Cherry 1963

An excellent player's grade Starfire III featuring a pair of full-size Gibson humbuckers that deliver rich, robust tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific!

Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The body binding in the waists has shrunk a bit & there's a black mark in the finish on the bass-side waist along with a tiny bit of binding filler.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with aged white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Gotoh tuners made in Japan. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double-bound, hollow mahogany body with dual F-holes & Florentine cutaway. Guild Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with unoriginal Gotoh ABR-1 bridge on a floating aluminum base. Original Guild black plexi pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.6 oz.

Electronics: Unoriginal Gibson humbuckers with Guild covers & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with Guild "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Vintage Gibson hardshell case included with replacement leather handle.
