Bacchus Japan Tune-up Series
All JT Series instruments are tuned up and set up in a specialized division in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan, with the idea that players can start using them right away. Inheriting the spirit of the Handmade Series, Bacchus' top-of-the-line line that began in 2001, the Handmade Series provides players with instruments that they can entrust themselves with with confidence and that will produce the best performance possible.
The most important feature of the Handmade Series is that the final process is carried out by experienced Japanese craftsmen. The final touches, which are directly related to playability, are carefully completed at WDG (Workshop Deviser Guitars), a division of Deviser Guitars in Japan.
Nut and saddle processing for improved playability.
Fret finishing for accurate tone.
In addition to the above work, string height adjustment and final finishing of the fingerboard, which directly affect playability, are also thoroughly performed as part of the tune-up process. New guitars and basses are often difficult to play, but with the JT series, we continue to focus on supporting the player's musical life from the day of purchase.
High-grade quilted maple top
The body top is made of quilted maple, which has a beautiful, eye-catching grain. The matte finish gives the quilt top a very subdued impression.
Slim body as WOODLINE
The dinky shape of the WOODLINE body, developed through the Handmade series, has been inherited. The body is slightly slimmer than a typical JB-type electric bass, which makes it easier to play. Black binding is applied around the perimeter of the body to give it a luxurious and tight look.
Brass Neck Plate
An original brass neck plate with high specific gravity is used. It is heavier than the conventional neck plate and features a dense bass tone that extends into the mid-low range.
Active circuit for flexible sound creation
Like the active models in the Handmade series, this model is equipped with a 2-band EQ to support detailed sound creation during performance. By switching the mini-switch, it can also be used as a passive type.
Roasted Maple Neck with Increased Rigidity
The new Bacchus standard, the popular roasted maple neck, is also used on this model. The heat treatment makes the neck highly rigid and resistant to warping, and it also produces a dry sound with good rise.
