The LP Galaxy Giovanni Series Wood Bongos are the finest wooden bongos in the LP bongo lineup. Crafted from sonically superior American ash, they are precisely glued together to ensure no visible seams. The heads are made from selected rawhide and come in a standard 7-1/4" and 8-5/8" combination. They offer exceptional clarity and a powerful sound, with particularly impressive high-pitched projection.
Additionally, the shells are reinforced with a backing plate to prevent cracks caused by salsa players dropping the bongos on the floor.
The 5/16" diameter tuning lugs, combined with the aluminum die-cast hardware at the base, provide stability and airworthiness during playing. The shell is wrapped around the instrument for comfortable playing. The LP Comfort Curve II rim provides a comfortable playing experience.
