A true holy grail amplifier!

There are special amplifiers, and there is this. Dating to April of 1954 and featuring its original Jensen P15N speaker with a manufacture date of late 1953, this example is an exceptionally direct and responsive sounding amplifier with immense character to say the least. This particular example, labelled internally as a 5C5,  instead features the 5D5 tube configuration of three 12AY7, two 6L6G, and a 5U4G rectifier tube. These examples are typically rated around 18-watts, which thanks to its 15" speaker delivers immense presence. Featuring a wide panel design, this example delivers the quintessential 'tweed' whilst showing only light signs of tolex wear and grill cloth wear throughout. From what we understand of its history, it has had no major modifications done. 

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, showing light signs of wear and discolouration to the tolex and grill cloth. Hardware and electronics appear to be fully functional. As we are not amp technicians we have not done a full tear down of this example. Includes an aftermarket amp cover and stepdown transformer.
