The Peavey Decade is a vintage 10 watt, solid state 1×8 guitar amp made by Peavey in the 1980s. It became a legendary cult classic after Queens of the Stone Age front man Josh Homme revealed he used the cheap, aggressive-sounding practice amp as his “secret weapon” studio distortion tone. This is a used amp in excellent working condition. Please check the pics and consider them part of the description!History and Cult Status

  • Originally sold as a cheap, low-end practice amp in the early 1980s.
  • Known for an aggressive, mid-forward, nasty clipping character when pushed hard.
  • Became famous when Josh Homme used it on early studio recordings for its dry, punchy transistor tone.
