Alveraz dates of this era are hard to verify but this Japanese built instrument was most likely hand crafted in the early to mid-70s. Although there are cosmetic scuffs and marks the guitar is very solid. I noted no repairs or cracks and found no major issues. Study the photo closely and I believe you will agree, this is a solid tight guitar. There are almost no indications of wear which indicates to me it spent most of its life in a case in the closet. Check out the detail that has been crafted into this guitar.

I spent a few hours cleaning, polishing, tightening, restringing and adjusting and behold a beautiful around 50 year old guitar that plays and sounds fantastic. Sound is subjective so I can only tell you that I love the bright projected sound of mature tone woods. To me it is beautifully balanced instrument and that needs to be heard. In a group this guitar will stand out! Coming at you in a decent chipboard case safely packed and fully insured.

This is all original with rosewood sides and back, a spruce top with a gorgeous rosette, the classic Alvarez inlay logo and truss rod cover, and this sounds like a vintage Alvarez should, especially a Japanese one. Much of the warmth does come from the rosewood, that is a huge plus. The guitar is set up with low action and is a wonderful playing guitar. The attached video is not of the actual guitar. When you make a purchase I recheck the guitar. I pack the guitar securely and ship it quickly. My goal is sell you a great guitar that will make you happy for years to come.
