We are a marketplace for musicians seeded from the deep experience of the internationally renowned brick and mortar Chicago Music Exchange. Launched in early 2012 by a small team of extremely passionate and driven technology and music experts, we are already generating revenue and growing fast.



Developer Apprentice

You will work on real production code while studying additional resources on your own time to take you from good to great during this 6 month full time program. We will be improving your skills in OOP, refactoring, architecture, data modeling, ops, command line knowledge, vim skills, and more! At the end of 6 months, you will have a chance to join our team as a full time developer.

Senior Ruby Developer

Developers who can do it all, from backend architecture to html/css and javascript are especially valuable, but if you have deep expertise in specific backend areas such as scalability, ElasticSearch, and Redis, or machine learning, we would love to talk to you. Some ops experience will be expected as we all wear many hats. This is a chance to have a big impact at a small company that is headed for huge success.

Front End Engineer (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

Do you love building clean, modular front end code? Do you love to create engaging user experiences for customers? You'll work closely with our Director of UX to implement exciting new features, while building frameworks for reuse and rapid development in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with JS frameworks like Backbone is nice but not required. Full stack engineers that dabble in Rails and front end are welcome!
