About This Listing

Fender Starmaster Combo Organ, ca 1968.
Super Rare! 30-40 estimated to exist in the world!

Own a piece of history!

Apparently, Fender decided to exit the combo organ market shortly after shipping a very small quantity of these. Very few have survived in working condition since the over 50 years since it was released.

This unique and powerful 1960s combo organ has just been overhauled by the amazing Jun T of Main Drag Music. (A list of all the work done is available at the bottom of this listing).

The interesting design feature about this organ is that it's actually two organs in one. The left hand, white tabs offer tone-wheel organ timbres (think Hammond) while the green tabs offer up transistor organ timbres (a la Vox/Farfisa). The two black tabs in between the sections allow you to either switch between or blend the two sections. The three "mix" tabs on the right add multiple footages on a single tab to the green tab section.

Sound files available on request!
Reverb doesn't support .mp3 files and the few YouTube videos available don't do this fantastic instrument justice.
We have several sound files available so you can hear this amazing Instrument in action in a full band setting.

The housing shows signs of wear consistent with an instrument of this age. I've tried to show all cosmetic issues in the pics. The housing is still rock solid and all of the internal electronics and mechanics are now 100%.
Please note: the original hard wired audio cable has been replaced with a female 1/4" chassis mount output so you can use your own hi-quality connection cables.
