Obviously, by the time you have to play it for the 200th time, you better have a way to keep it interesting for yourself, and the fans. How do you do it? Put some stank on it.
You may remember Juno from her previous Reverb video on adding swag to your own guitar playing. Stank, swag, personality, whatever you want to call it—today, she's back to show you how to add it Camila Cabello's "Havana"—the song she played, night after night, for almost two years' worth of concertgoers.
The progression is all of three chords—Gm7, Eb7, and D7—but with some pickup notes, dynamic picking, palm-muting, and of course, so tasteful soloing, you can add plenty of flair. Instead of just reaching for a pentatonic or a Gm scale, Juno livens it up at moments with the G melodic minor scale—with that added F# jumping out to turn some heads. Then, go ahead and throw in some double-stops. Go crazy.
