Allen and Heath's 2013 QU16 is a portable digital console perfect for FOH sound, monitors, live recording and studio use. Features 16 local mono mic/line XLR inputs, 3 stereo TRS inputs and 12 XLR mix outs. The 17 faders mean less flipping between layers to mix a 16 ch show, leaving layers for FX send/return, DCAs and auxiliary inputs. The output fader is set to LR by default, and can be easily swapped on the fly to view FX and other Mix Outs.
Networking options make it a versatile desk despite its size, with AES3 Digital Out, dSnake, Network port and USB connectivity. The desk's built in 24x22 USB interface allows for simultaneous multitrack recording into a separate DAW. Can be easily paired with A&H stageboxes for remote and expanded I/O.
The desk is 19" rack mountable, has an 800×480 touchscreen, 4 soft keys and pots for gain, HPF, PEQ, pan, gate threshold and compression threshold.
The desk comes with the original flight case and a 13A IEC. It's in great physical condition and runs like new.
